472 was purchased in Cooper's 2015 sale.  As described by Mark, this stylish 215Z son has lots of eye appeal.  A clean-fronted bull with a pedigree that targets calving ease and maternal power.  472B has a lot of hip, depth of rib and volume.  He had an actual weaning weight of 830 lb. with a calving ease direct epd of +6.1.  He also scores very well for udder suspension and teat size @ UDDR 1.25 and TEAT 1.31 for epd's. His dam is a donor cow for Coopers and she has produced top selling bulls and females in their production sales over the past 5 years.  A maternal brother (216) was the high selling bull in their 2013 sale at $80,000 to Pedretti Ranches, VanNewkirk Herefords, Jamision Herefords, Southern Cross Ranch, and Climbin' Tree Ranch.  Other sons and daughters have sold to Loehr Hereford Farm & Stephens Hereford Farm, Churchill Cattle Company, Stuber Ranch, Holden Herefords, and Fawcett Elm Creek Ranch.  472's Sire 215 was a top selling bull that is owned by Coopers and B&D Herefords.  His progeny exhibit the kind of perofrmance traits and carcass data we continually aim for in the Hereford breed.  472 ranks in the top 3% of the breed for CED and MM epds and the top 20% or better for BW, M&G, UDDR and TEAT epd's.  We expect his progeny to have great udders and lower birth weights without losing performance.  Semen no longer available for sale. 

JH ADVANCE 5114C

5114C was retained from our 2015 calf crop.  He was a stand out for muscle expression, overall thickness, and depth of rib.  Coming off a first calf heifer, he had a WW ratio of 119 and a YW ratio of 111.  His sire is the great 1098 herd sire that has been used heavily at Holden Herefords, MT and Flying S Herefords, TX.  The 1098 daughters that we have in our herd are dark red and well made with great udders!  His first calves exhibit extra thickness and eye-appeal!  This herd bull will continue to be used heavily in our herd.  Semen available.

CL 1 DOMINO 2160Z

2160 was purchased in Cooper's 2013 sale.  As described by Coopers, he is a stout, smooth 0145X son with natural thickness, spring of rib, and length of body.  2160Z is a top herd bull prospect with tremendous eye-appeal to accompany his performance numbers and strong maternal traits.  Dam "5131" is a donor cow with as much volume and spring of rib as any cow on the ranch.  She is a nicely marked "3113N" daughter with 100% eye pigment.  He posted a 800 lb. adj. 205 day wt. and a 1290 lb. 365 day wt.  He scanned a 13.17 inch REA.  He ranks in the top 1% of the breed for Milk and M&G.  He also ranks in the top 5% for scrotal and the top 20% for YW, Marbling, and CHB Index.  His females are stand-outs!  Semen available.

2158Z Was purchased in Holden's 2013 sale.  As described by Holden's, he is a powerhouse herd bull prospect.  A big time beef bull with cow power.  2158 is a tremendous bull that is as long spined as any bull in the sale.  He is thick butted, deep sided, and well marked.  He is an easy fleshing bull that will add performance, maternal, and carcass strength to his progeny along with eye appeal and style.  His dam is a tremendous donor cow and the #1 cow in Holden's herd on average NR.  Maternal brothers to 2158Z are in use at Van Newkirk Herefords, Hoffman Herefords, Iron Lake Ranch, and Flying S Herefords.  He was the #1 bull in the sale on NR at 117 and an adj. 205 wt. of 888 lbs.  He also ratioed 109 REA and ranks in the top 1% of the breed on MARB EPD.  His sire, 08469, ranks as the #7 overall sire in the Hereford breed for MARB EPD.  Dam, 6188, has an avg. NR of 114.8 and an avg. YR of 107.8  Semen available.

269Z was acquired by Baker Herefords, SD in 2017.  This great Cooper bull was purchased and used by Holden Herefords before being used at Bakers.  He is a bull with a ton of style, thickness, and pigment with moderate birth weight epd's.  His calves have ratioed well in these top herds and he has excelled with a 108 ratio on fat depth on his bull calves.  His dam is also the dam to our 472B herd sire.  She has produced over $200,000 in progeny for Cooper Herefords.  269Z has produced over 120 progeny in four different purebred herds.  He has daughters working in Holden Herefords, Harrison Cattle Company, Flying S Herefords, and Baker Herefords.  We are excited to have this walking sire in our herd!

CL 1 DOMINO 1127Y 1ET

1127Y was purchased in Cooper's 2012 sale.  He was a stand out in the sale for phenotype and muscle expression.  He is a 100% pigmented bull with depth of rib, length, and good muscle.  An "860" son that is clean fronted and thick through the top.  He posted a 1247 lb. adj. 365 day wt.  He scanned a 13.96 inch REA and a 1.18 inch REA/100 lbs, and he ranks in the top 10% or better in the breed in WW, YW, M&G, and scrotal.  His dam "520" is a top donor cow for Coopers. and his sire "860" has proven to be a trait leader for WW, YW, Milk, M&G, Scrotal, and CHB index.  "860" was the top selling bull in Cooper's 2009 sale at $55,000.

5011 was purchased in Holden's 2016 bull sale.  He was our pick of the sale!  He is a well marked, dark red, good pigmented 1131 son that was the thickest bull in the Holden offering in our opinion.  He is huge hipped bull with a deep quarter and extra overall dimension from end to end.  his dam is a great uddered 8050 daughter that goes back to the great 496 Cooper cow. In 5011's pedigree, he is stacked with great females like 496, 5152, 440, and 365.  You couldn't write a better maternal pedigree!  5011's full brother sold to Leforce Land and Livestock for $19,000.  His sire, 1131 is a very good 955 son that was purchased by B&D Herefords.  1131 is proving to be a great sire for females and herd bulls.  5011 ranks in the top 2% for milk and M&G epds.  He also ratioed 106 on REA.  Holdens retained a 1/4 in herd semen interest on 5011.  His first calves have come out small, are well marked, and exhibit good thickness!  As more progeny are required, we are finding that 5011 is a strong heifer bull candidate and his females are going to be some of our very best.  We have also used two of his sons in our herd.  Semen is available.

660 was purchased in Cooper's 2017 bull sale.  He is a stylish, clean fronted bull that has excellent pigment and a red neck.  This bull is the complete genetic package combining calving ease, performance, and maternal greatness.  Dam 1178Y ranks in the top 1% of the breed for Marbling.  He is out of the Pedretti 311 bull that Coopers used.  660 also exhibits extra length and dept of rib.  We look forward to his impact on our herd.  Semen is available.
